We are happy to welcome anchoring visiting scholar Denis Feeney on 2 December, who will give a lecture entitled ‘Abandoning Ariadne’. In this lecture he will be discussing the abandonment of Ariadne in Callimachus, Apollonius, Catullus, and Virgil.
The lecture will take place in the Erasmus Building of Radboud University in Nijmegen, room E2.05, from 16.00-17.00 hrs, with drinks afterwards in the Cultuurcafé.
