For the academic year 2022-2023, Anchoring Innovation is looking for two assistant project coordinators. As an assistant project coordinator, it is your job to work with the project coordinator on a wide range of tasks on both an administrative and an organizational level. In addition to these tasks, you get the chance to develop an individual project that will add to the valorization of our research program.
During this internship you will be able to experience the world of academic support: you work as a non-academic staff member within an academic environment. The internship is varied and flexible. By combining the non-academic elements (administration, organization) with the academic ones (individual project), it is possible to use your creativity in this internship and to add to this project by using your knowledge of and love for antiquity.
Anchoring Innovation is the title of an NWO Gravitation Grant research project of OIKOS, the Dutch national research school in Classical Studies. Approximately sixty OIKOS researchers are currently united in Anchoring Innovation, ranging from PhD students to (emeritus) professors, and this number is still growing. More information about the Anchoring Innovation research agenda of OIKOS can be found on our website.
Anchoring Innovation is monitored from Radboud University (Faculty of Arts). You will therefore work from the project coordinators office at the Erasmus Building, where the Anchoring Innovation office is located. More information on the Radboud University Faculty of Arts can be found here.
Internship, 5 months (10 ECTS), between 29 August 2022 and 27 January 2023 or between 6 February 2023 – 7 July 2023. Interns receive a monthly fee to cover job related (travel) expenses for the duration of the internship.
The Anchoring Innovation program is strongly committed to diversity within its team and especially welcomes applications from members of underrepresented groups.
Enquiries about the position can be addressed to the project coordinator Suzanne van de Liefvoort via anchoring@let.ru.nl or to one of the senior members of the Anchoring Innovation research program.
In order to be admissible, applications must include the following information (in the same order), in one PDF file (not zipped):
Please submit your complete application to Suzanne van de Liefvoort via anchoring@let.ru.nl before June 13, 2022. Interviews will take place in the week of 27 June –1 July, 2022.
